Congratulations! I have been knitting for 6 years now and STILL have not managed to make anything for myself, except a few washcloths. Good job. I'd love to see a picture of it.
Don't get discouraged Becky, I've been knitting actively for about fourteen years now, and the only thing I'd made for myself until now was socks. I'll try to post a picture, but it may take a while, as I'm pretty much a technical novice on the computer.
